I don’t know about you but for me, because I grew up in a tourist town, it’s knowing that right around the corner is the last day of summer. Everyone I spent the summer with leaves and I won’t see them again for nine months. Even though I’ve been gone from that world for 30 years, the echos of that life remain. Childhood left a permanent imprint on my psyche.
