I enjoyed this a great deal, Annie. It’s not really all that different for those of us who have kids. Sure, the doubts creep in a little later (we’re BUSY after all). But, here I sit at 54. My wife has been dead for nine years. I wonder what impact I had. Beyond doing all I could for her and my kids, I didn’t do much of anything of value for the rest of humanity.
But there’s still time. And most importantly I get to be grateful for still having the opportunity to do something more.
Oh, and that “solid 6” shit. Nah, every woman is a ten to the person that loves them. If you knew how beautiful you look to us, in the morning before you wake up, you wouldn’t bother with the makeup at all.
