There’s a ton of truth in that “the right person, at the right time, with the right words, when you’re ready to HEAR them.” phrase.

Yesterday was a lightbulb moment for me. I honestly never saw what I was doing. And I’ve been in therapy for two years. I had to see it for myself. Too bad it’s too late this time. But I go forward with a better sense of myself. And a determination not to do it again.

Oh, and a rather shaken ego…. What’s that phrase “pride goeth before the fall?”
