I remember that ad. It was a truly cringe-worthy moment. Completely tone-deaf. When I saw it, I was flabbergasted than any advertising executive could be that stupid.
I worked for Pepsi for 29 3/4 years. Until I was downsized last June. I still struggle with the fact that I spent 30 years working for a company that makes a product I don't believe should exist. But that's a conversation for another time.... There were, and are, a lot of good people there. I just think the world needs to go in a different direction.
