I’m a parent to four millennials. As far as I can see, you hit the nail on the head. We struggle with trying to understand your world. It used to be a parent could try to help their kids navigate the world a little. It didn’t change quite so much from one generation to the next. It’s a whole lot harder when they don’t even recognize the world the kids are inheriting. And yea, you do have an incredible work ethic. Every young person I know has it. It looks a little different from what my generation considered a work ethic. I think it looks a whole lot like working smarter, not harder.
