I've struggled mightily with the idea that any woman would vote so much against her own interests, let alone sit in front of a camera and enthusiastically promote those same policies. And then I stepped back and thought about what I did for a living for thirty years.

We need to craft a world in which people don't feel like they have no choice but to be untrue to their own values just to make a decent living.
