There's a lot to love about this comment. It took the right wing wackos almost 20 years to steer the ship of state to where it is now.

The Koch family and their libertarian devotees started at the grassroots level and won town seats, county seats, state governments and judicial seats. The Tea Party is the result of all that local activity. Overthrowing that entrenched base is going to take some time.

I came of age during Reagan's first term. I'm still in the minority among the people I know in my opinion of the disaster he and the GOP of that era wrought on the American system of government. We're still living under the fantasy of "trickle down" economics despite every single intelligent voice decrying it.
