Well that, and the fact that Americans really aren't welcomed anywhere else right now. And we probably won't be for quite some time. Sorta like one of my conservative FaceBook buddies spewed out when I posted something about kids in cages on the border, we're "just gonna have to stay in our own shithole country and fix it instead of moving and bringing our filth with us."

It is incumbent on each and every one of us to try and fix what is wrong. Both here in the USA and in the world at large. There's really nowhere else to go. Climate change is gonna make sure of that in fairly short order.
